I'm Thomas
I am an Independent Director, Chairman, board member and entrepreneur with a passion for providing insightful information and driving change. I have built my reputation for connecting and informing those in the corporate world over a 40 year career, spanning 60 countries and more than a dozen boards.
Having worked with household names such as The Apprentice's Sir Alan Sugar, Mental Health Pioneer, Jay Shetty, and Facebook, Spotify co-founder, Sean Parker and Steve Ballmer of Microsoft, it is this drive for connecting likeminded individuals and sharing nuanced, unbiased information that has led to my position as a go-to for those seeking an Independent Director.
In 1998, I co-founded Ecademy alongside my wife, Penny Power OBE. Together, we built the first online network for business leaders. Over the following 14 years, we grew a community of purposeful business experts across 52 countries and over 650,000 members. We continue to pioneer this people-first culture originally developed within Academy, and it remains at the heart of my own passion for sharing connections and insight with those who need it.
